An unconventional journey forged through insights, diverse influences, and practical solutions.

Our childhood and teenage summers saw us grow up between the sea and sand at the same beach resort. Later, life led us down different paths, enriching us with distinct experiences and professions.

Francesca, immersed for thirty years in the corporate world as an executive, entrepreneur, and consultant, directly experienced the shortcomings of traditional approaches to people assessment and development. She observed the difficulty in objectively measuring skills in real-world situations. Giovanna, passionate about sociology and organizational sciences with an eye towards methodological avant-garde, delved into theories and models, identifying a significant gap between theory and practice in understanding human dynamics in the workplace.

These divergent paths, full of challenges and learnings, allowed us to develop complementary viewpoints. And it's precisely in this diversity that we found ourselves with a shared vision: an unmet need and the necessity for an innovative approach that went beyond established models.

From the synergy between Francesca's pragmatic "know-how" and Giovanna's theoretical "know-to-analyze," the idea for UBMAIOR bloomed. We moved beyond individual soft skills, introduced advanced mathematical methods, and adopted a sociological approach that looks at collective behavior and sense-making, rather than just the individual. The focused technical expertise and innovative mindset of Stefano and Lorenzo then transformed this vision into reality, solidifying the entire methodological framework.

At the helm are two founders with complementary visions: a former executive and entrepreneur with solid experience in business processes and a natural inclination for envisioning what doesn't yet exist; and an eclectic professional with a multifaceted background in education and the humanities, able to connect different worlds and generate new perspectives.
Alongside them, two young developers who turn complexity into intuitive and high-performing functionality, and a designer who crafts every visual detail with precision, balance, and an aesthetic that always serves usability.
